A new purpose-built car showroom

Leyland, Lancashire
New waste recycling Plant
Client : A.E.Yates
Project Value – £ 3 million (Projected)
Civil works undertaken at a new waste recycling facility at Leyland in Lancashire. Works comprised slabs, retaining walls, and bespoke concrete structures. Works undertaken included the internal areas of a new buildings as the superstructure works progressed.
Sefton, Merseyside
Client : Mansell construction Services
Project Value – £ 1.10 million
Melavid undertook all the groundwork elements on a new bespoke water sports facility at Waterloo in Merseyside. Works comprised substructures, drainage, retaining walls, water attenuation systems, and final surfacing works. Due to the existing strata having a high water table, a designed de-watering system was required throughout the contract including sheet piling works due to unstable ground conditions.
Llandudno, North Wales
New Car Dealership
Client : Williams Tarr
Project Value – £ 275 k
Groundwork’s package undertaken for Williams Tarr at Llandudno in North Wales, and undertaken on a Labour & Plant only basis. Works undertaken included foundations, drainage, and external works. Contaminated ground was encountered on the development which required specialist containment and removal.
